1. Consultation with approved “Tool Use Experts” on your staff.
2. Evaluation/consolidation of varying opinions and input from your tool users and Tool Experts.
Sanity checks:
1. Review the records to ensure the issue hasn’t been brought up in the past. If this is a recurring issue, escalate this information to the relevant stakeholders.
2. Determine the issue is even worth pursuing in the first place. Is it a significant problem in relation to safety, quality, or efficiency?
3. Determine the scope of the issue. Does the issue affect just one individual or a group?
4. Is the perceived issue based upon their specific situation, or is the issue universal to the entire team?
